Who We Are
Challenged Champions Equestrian Center was established in 1997 as a non-profit charitable corporation. Using the horse and its environment, we provide equine assisted activities for people with a variety of special needs.The mission of the Challenged Champions Equestrian Center, Inc. is to enrich and change the lives of children and adults with special needs through facilitated equine activities.
Here at Challenged Champions we offer Four types of services; Equine Assisted Activities & Therapies, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Special Programs and Horses for Veterans.
Equine-assisted activities and therapies (EAAT) are any specific center activity, such as therapeutic riding, mounted or ground activities, grooming, etc., in which participants, volunteers, instructors and horses are involved.
